About Sleep Clerk
Sleep Clerk is a record of what pillow makers put in writing: how long you get to try a pillow, who pays to ship it back, what comes out of the refund, and what height the maker states. It exists because those terms sit in fine print on separate pages, and they differ more than the pillows' adjectives do.
Who runs it
An independent publisher runs Sleep Clerk, and it runs several sleep sites, each on its own question. The others cover sizing with a calculator, snoring, living with a pillow, and pillows sold through ads. They share a publisher and no text, and no site here cites another as independent evidence.
The site's authority is the record itself, not a person's title. It carries no portraits and no credentials, because a reader can check a quote and cannot check a biography.
What this site does differently
This site competes on what can be checked. Every term in a table quotes a saved page, with the date it was read, and the order of the table comes from a rule you can read and a file you can download.
What it refuses to do
- No scores out of ten, no stars and no badges for a favorite.
- No countdown timers, no "% off" and no compare-at prices.
- No claims about what a pillow does for pain.
- No hidden funding: how we make money names who pays and who does not.
If a row is wrong
Write to hello@sleepclerk.com with the page and the row, and include the maker's page if you have it. A maker can write in too. A correction goes in the changelog with its date, and what it corrected stays visible.
The method is on how we check, and the rows themselves are on the data page.
