Who pays us

How Sleep Clerk makes money

As of 2026-11-06, nobody pays us. Every link on this site is a plain link that earns us nothing. The plan is to join the affiliate programs listed below, and the rules on this page were written before any money exists, so the money has to fit the rules.

Who pays us nothing

The pillow you already own pays us nothing, and neither does a cheaper pillow from a shop with no program. Both can be the right answer, and we say so where it is. These programs are on record and pay us nothing today:

  • Saatva affiliate program
  • Hatch affiliate program
  • Coop Sleep Goods affiliate program
  • Eli & Elm affiliate program
  • BedJet affiliate program
  • Amazon Associates

A maker with no program can top a table. A maker that pays little stays linked where it fits. Showing them is the test of the rule below.

The order comes first

The order of every table is computed from its columns by code that cannot see a link, a program or a rate. A link is added to a row after the row has its place. A program decides whether a link earns us anything, and it never decides where a row sits.

What we will never do

  • Take money for a place in a table or a review.
  • Let a commission set an order.
  • Drop a documented term because a maker that pays would rather we did.
  • Run a paid placement that does not say so.

A return costs us too

When a reader sends a pillow back, a program takes back the commission it paid on that sale. So a recommendation the reader regrets earns us nothing, and a table that leads on the return policy points at the thing that costs us money.

The mechanics, including how a paid link is marked, are on the affiliate disclosure.
