How we pick
A pillow is listed when its maker sells it on keeping cool and we could read its maker’s own site or its Amazon listing. A pillow sold only through resellers is left out.
Return cost sets the order. Ties break on the longest stated window, then on the lowest price.
Rows whose pages say too little go in a second table, ordered by window and price. Read how we check for the rest, and how we make money for who pays us.
Who should not buy a new pillow
If your pillow keeps its shape and you wake without trouble, keep it.
Cooling is the maker’s claim, in the maker’s own words. The health claims on these pages are the makers’ own, about neck pain, neck and shoulder pain, or head and neck pain.
If neck pain brought you here, read the neck pain pillows first.
Left out, and why
- PureLUX Simply Cool Memory Foam: We found no site of its own, only resellers, so no price or terms are on file.
